David Hasselhoff Looks Damn Fine After Being Shelved Since The 80s
Recently we've been getting rid of old books and things cluttering my mom's house. My mom is a hoarder. She literally never gets rid of anything. My entire childhood can be located upstairs in the little bedroom packed from ceiling to floor with junk she refuses to get rid of. Anyways, in a pile of old books I came across this gem...
64 Cent Coloring Books In 1984!!!
I really think the people drawing this coloring book tried to make David Hasselhoff look sexy.
For those of you reading, take a moment to solve this puzzle page...Try not to cheap and flip your computer screen over to read the answer at the bottom.
I found a lot of humor finding my brother's old Knight Rider coloring book. He always loved cool cars and the only parts of the entire book colored in were cars. It's very nostalgic seeing old coloring books like this.
A Story Of Pranks From Graduate School
Seeing David Hasselhoff in this coloring book reminded me of a story from my graduate school days. When I was in graduate school there were 10 of us all working on our masters degrees and we shared one large office. We all were friends and loved hanging out in the office even though it was packed tight when we were all there. There was lots of fun to be had including pranks.
The longest running prank in the graduate office was "Hoffing." Basically, when someone would leave their laptop unattended and logged in, this left their computer vulnerable to be messed with and "Hoffed." This means that whoever left their computer alone would have their wallpaper changed to a picture of David Hasselhoff.
This was my go-to picture
My husband never exited out of Firefox so it would take him a while to discover I frequently Hoffed him and changed his background to naked Hoff with puppies.
Hehehe very cute prank lol.
Wow, what a cool find. Hoard it! Hehe, love the 'Hoffed' idea. Reminds me of a mail a buddy sent me. When I opened the link it froze my screen with 2 nude guys as display. I had to phone him to let me know how to get rid of it. Off course I passed it on to my email list, lol
Haha... I tried going back to watch that series a few years ago. What was great in the 80's, might be best left in the 80's.
My office mates and I don't really see each other all that much. Every once in awhile, I bump into one of them in there. There's no way we could fit ten in the little closet that we share, though!
Maybe you can be the mystery Hoffer? Sneak into other grad students offices and change their wallpaper when they step out to go to the bathroom. lol. It was the same when I started PhD school. I was in an office by myself first year then shared and office with a crazy lady from Jamaica who hated everyone the next. PhD school was way less fun that masters school. Getting to interact with fellow grad students makes all the difference I think. Not all schools are good at creating a grad student culture in their departments.
We only have two offices for the department, and we're four people to an office. Department policy says we can't be in the office during another TA's dedicated office hours, though, so it's rare that there are two of us in the office at a given time.
About the most fun I've had so far was rearranging Mr. Potatohead's face, when I came in to find him on the desk. Exciting, right?
Drawing of color book with David Hasselhoff made to look sexy and its was interesting to know that in 1984 for these coloring books 64 cent. The picture of naked Hoff with puppies was amazing .I like ur way of Hoffing @Maxrab. thanks for ur post.
Excellent moments with the past :)
