Sending Holiday Packages | Questions To Ask Yourself Before Delivery | Holiday Humor (But not really)
When sending your gifts in the mail this holiday season, ask yourself:
Would this package survive falling off of a 4 story building onto a concrete slab?
If I fully submerged this package into a swimming pool and held it underwater for 15 minutes would the contents inside be dry?
If this package hit a wall at 60 mph would it survive?
Could a truck drive over this package and leave the contents inside unharmed?
Could this package withstand a crate of bowling balls being set on it?
Could this package survive a knife fight?
If your answer to all of these questions is “Yes”, congratulations! Your package is ready for delivery!
Wishing all holiday packages safe travels on their treacherous journey ahead :)

Lol, "Could this package survive a knife fight?" is definitely my favorite :)
Great post. They do seem to go out of their way to squash things, I've gotten quite a few amazing ones as well.
This post says #humor, but I didn't find anything funny... just honest truth.
Did you know in some package processing plants they have machines that throw the box across the warehouse to a machine that catches it?
My post is only trying to find humor in situations where packages are damaged in the mail - which happens quite often. As you can see in the photos above - these packages most likely were crushed by heavy items (though I wasn't there, so I can't be sure).
Each of these "humorous" examples are from ways I have received packages.
"knife fight" is from a time when an envelope bubble mailer arrived completely shredded with the product hanging out of the package.
"underwater" is from a time when they left the packages out in the rain instead of under the awning of the house (which would have only been a 1.5ft placement difference).
"Crate of bowling balls" is from situations like the photos above.
"Falling from 4 story building" is from a time I watched a mail carrier throw packages onto a cement floor instead of just setting them down.
It just goes with the saying "If you don't laugh you'll cry" meaning: using humor to cope with unfortunate situations rather than sadness or anger :)
