Spiritual maturity: Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2

Those who reach spiritual maturity are those who truly know our Lord Jesus and his message, the kingdom of God. But Paul's thought about this subject was very precise, this maturity in Christ and in love (Agape) is not a product of our efforts and merits, but a grace from the Lord, a beatitude: "God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit", Romans 5:5.
And this spiritual adulthood implies something very definite, the aversion to error and sin, that is, the impossibility of following that path, because the complete person possesses the vision of God, the gift of eternal life (John 17:3).
Who knows Jesus with his heart puts his thoughts on the truly important and transcendental things, like life, wisdom, and the common good with his brothers and sister; because otherwise what remains is what comes from heresy, as the apostle Paul taught: "So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking" Ephesians 4:17.
And the apostle of the gentiles, Paul, wrote to us with wise words in what consists this grace that introduces us to a new life: "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" Ephesians 4:2-3.
And this is so because the love of Charity, the love that comes from above, does not harm others or oneself, but builds and heals minds and hearts: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
