Who are you? Tell us anything and everything you'd like us to know about you!

I’m primarily a mother. That is how I identify myself.
I’m also a photographer with a huge passion for nature. I love to make digital illustrations. I’m in love with a wonderful man. I live in Sweden, and I have done that for my whole life.
I spend many hours outdoors hiking and I love yoga early in the mornings. As a kid I was spending most of my free time in the forest, mostly alone. And I still love nature so much.
I have a crush on sweets, I eat to much candy and other sweet things. I love sparkling wine and I also enjoy most food.
I need a lot of sleep. I really enjoy going to bed in the evening.
I love making ugly things with paper, glue and glitter. My kids don’t enjoy that as much as I do anymore.
Travelling is something I have increased the last ten years. I never travelled as young. I enjoy travelling and do it several times a year. Italy is my favourite country to visit.
I have some hard times at the moment trying to figure out what to do next in life as I’m 43.
A life crisis… I try a lot of things, I’m back to school for a new start in my worklife. My kids are growing up which makes me feel a bit sad. I know that’s life and that it’s good that they grow up to be independent of their parents. But it feels sad at the moment.
I’m also a student, an old one :D I will get my bachelor in June in Digital Design. I love being a student. Learning new things is awesome!
I enjoy to calmness and spending time alone.

What makes your heart smile?

Kindness in all forms. Actions made with love.

How did you get onto Steemit?

I was blogging in another plattform, and a friend told me to check out Steemit. And I did...

Where do you want to die?

Surrounded by my loved once. Place does not matter.

When's the last time you cried?

Last week when I argued with my oldest daughter. I seldom gets angry, if someone is angry with my I gets sad instead.

What’s something you DON’T like about all this new technology?

How vulnerable we are to lost power supply. We would really have NOTHING if power is lost for some days.

What mistake do you keep making and why?

I say yes to things I don’t want to do. I don’t want people to get upset with me and I feel a need to make them happy.

What's the best advice you have ever gotten?

To never say no to my kids without actually having a great reason to do so. And that is not why I often say yes to other people to things I don’t want to do. To say no to kids often is an automatic process when you are tired or stressed.

If there was something you could un-do, what would it be?

That I have eaten a lot of sweets.

Imagine that you magically have the ability to keep being alive without sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Making illustrations, creating things. I would definitely try to learn new things even more. There also is a slight chance that I would spend too much time on social media.

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well?

I decided to go to tech high school, which my mother did not want. I was not a very technical person either but I guess I wanted to show my mother I could do whatever I wanted… I have had so much out of these years. Thanks to that education I have been able to get rather great jobs.

What makes your belly ache with laughter?

People doing funny things in series like Friends. And jokes like, the once in Christmas crackers: “I was looking out the window this morning and said to my wife, It looks like rain dear.”

Tell us about 1 significant event in your life that really made you who you are.

My divorce. Before I spent my life trying to fit in and to be normal like my husband was. After I got interested in arts, photo and I changed a lot in my life. I got more spiritual and started to learn new ways of life.

What would be the scariest monster you could imagine?

A living killing doll.

What does Steemit mean for you?

It means a lot. It means a feeling of belonging. It means that I can write about things I love and that I can share my photos and creative work. It means a lot of nice people. Steemit for me feels like a big part of the future, where people comes together from all around this planet to share their passion and to help and support each other.

What would you like your last meal to be?

Sushi

If you could be an animal for a day, which animal would you be? Why?

A lion. I love lions, they are so cool and powerful. And they sleeps a lot.

Which person inspires you the most and why do they inspire you?

Dalai Lama. He inspires me because of his ideas of life. He speaks about the value of looking at other like humans, like they are the same as me. Not according to title or status. He speaks about being kind and helping others as a way to happiness. Happiness does not come from external events or material things. It comes from love and from helping others. I’m also inspired by the idea that we should not try to protect ourselves and our loved once and that we need to live in and embrace every moment and to be thankful. Death is a part of life and we can not avoid it. That is why we need to be present and enjoy life while we have it. Always looking forward or backward makes us miss is all...

What are you insecure about?

Meeting new people. Social occasions.

Describe your ideal life.

I can see myself working online from home. I’m an introvert with a huge need to spend time alone and it takes a lot of energy from med to be surrounded by people all day long. That might be why I love being a student (I study online). I should be able to be home when my kids gets home from school, I love that. I should do yoga and meditation on a daily basis and spend more time outdoors.

Have you ever saved someone’s life?

No

What do other people think is weird about you?

Not sure… It might be that my partner is an old guy, 70 years old. Or that I’m always gets up at 5 AM.

What do you think is one of the best things about you?

That I have a lot of knowledge and ideas.

What’s one responsibility you really wish you didn’t have?

To be a good daughter. My mother is a very eccentric and have some issues to express emotions. My sister have stopped talking to her last year and refuses to see her at all. I feel some guilt and all pressure is now on me.

If you had a personal flag, what would be on it?

A purple magnolia flower on white background.

If a genie granted you 3 wishes right now, what would you wish for?

1. That my partner will get really old, I mean that he should be with me for several more years.
2. Travel around the world for a year with my kids and partner.
3. That I was mentally much stronger and able to enjoy life and not being worried or feeling anxiety.

What do you think about when you’re by yourself?

Many things! I make plans. I think about life. I think about how I should work in the future. I think about how I behave, what I have done.

What would you want to be written on your tombstone?

Enjoy life while you can!

Who is the person you trust most?

My partner.

What's your favourite word?

Love.

If you had 25 minutes to do anything you wanted without external consequences what would you do?

Quit my job.

Who is your fave (or one of your favourite) Steemians and why?

Oh, there are many… All the wonderful people I met in the PALnet Discourd room, like @torico, @juliakponsford, @ellievallie, @crimsonclad, all creative and very nice people. @sammosk for helping a lot of people and for his poems. @misterakpan for believing in me. And also @meanmommy33 that initialized the great project Steemsugars. And so on, these are just a few that crossed my mind right now.

If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

Tried hard to get a bottle of champagne through security on an airport.

When you looked in the mirror first thing this morning, what was the first thing you thought?

I look tired.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

That sugar is not good for us to eat.

What is something that you just recently realized that you are embarrassed you didn’t realize earlier?

That Nutella tastes good.

As a Human Of Steemit, how do you contribute to Steemit?

I try to be honest and nice to people. I try to read all posts I check and I then writes comments that brings some value to the author. I also try to share some of my knowledge and I offer my photos and pictures to be used within Steemit. I always tries to make my content as good as possible. I’m open to collaboration with others where I can help with images or animations.
