Let’s start this off ‘properly’.Who are you? Tell us anything and everything you’d like us to know about you!

My name’s Zakhele Prince Dube, born and bred in South Africa, Johannesburg. There’s really not that much to me, I think. I’m an active introvert, in the sense that I don’t go out of my way to socialize because I find the majority of people boring and uninteresting. So you can imagine that I have a very small community of friends who suffer me to say the least.

What makes your heart smile?

I’ll guess that question is “What makes me happy”?
I don’t usually think about it that much. For one, usually if you have you ask yourself that question you’ll more likely to find you’re not and the strenuous task of being consciously happy is an ever shifting goal post, so you’re guaranteed depression and melancholy. I don’t want to be have happy… just satisfied in a very material sense. If that end in some kind of happiness then so be it.
And what satisfies me?
A full bottle of a good bourbon or whiskey

How did you get onto Steemit?

It was really an accident. I was trying to educate myself on BTC and, in general, cryptocurrency. I was looking to make an extra buck on the side in that direction.

Where do you want to die?

In Scotland, at the Isle of Islay. Close to the Lagavulin Distillery preferably. Not buried though, I want to be cremated with my ashes tossed into the surrounding waters.

What’s something you DON’T like about all this new technology?

I don’t think there’s much to say with a certain and confidence dislike at this point with sounding ignorant. It’s new technology so it’s still going through growing pains etc.

What mistake do you keep making and why?

I don’t think it’s possible one to be aware of an error and continue anyway especially if the ends are disadvantageous. It’s possible for everyone else to be conscious of your errors and for it to be business as usual for you obviously. So, no there aren’t any mistakes I’m aware of that I keep committing.

Is there anything you wish you could unlearn?

Smoking. I’ve cut down on it a whole lot but I wish I hadn’t taken it up. Quitting has become somewhat of a distraction and tedious that at times I’ve jokingly thought it’d be easier to just get some related cancer and be done.

If there was something you could un-do, what would it be?

My mortal coil?
No, Mel Gibson’s Passion of The Christ. It’s torture porn, rightwing catholic trash and a seduction to anti-Semitism. I can’t believe that horrible movie exists.

Imagine that you magically have the ability to keep being alive without sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Read more. I don’t read as much as I used to.

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well?

I don’t have or not fortunate enough to have instances of dumb luck but I have taken crappy detours that some could say ended pretty well. There was this one time bunking phys-ed I happened to find a small beg of coins. But that did last much because my bully took them from me later that day.

What makes your belly ache with laughter?

A joke or a clever slight that’s at the expense of a nasty person on a bad day. On a good day I find cheesy humor more to my liking.

Tell us about 1 significant event in your life that really made you who you are.

When I realized Alex Jones was a lunatic. That’s when I seized my critical faculties. For people that don’t know who he is, count yourself fortunate. He is the maximum of paranoia, irrational hysteria and covert ethno-nationalism. Take my word for it. It’s a waste of time.

What would be the scariest monster you could imagine?

Azathoth. One of Lovecraft’s mythical outer gods, the sleeping god who dreams the worlds into being…

A promise of freedom

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

Slavoj Christopher Luxemburg. It’s a combination of my favourite thinkers and philosophers, Slavoj Zizek, Christopher Hitchens and Rosa Luxemburg.

Which person inspires you the most and why do they inspire you?

It’s not one person but a collective of feminist women. Nothing is more radical and inspiring than that. They are the site of all contestation.

What are you insecure about?

Not being loved. I don’t care if people don’t like me but if I found out no one loved me that would snuff the life out of me.

Describe your ideal life.

A house in Port Ellen, Islay, Scotland overlooking the shores. Married or not, kids or not, whatever. Every morning I wake up and have a bicycle starting northwestward to Port Ellen Maltings to start my daily Malt Trail, then ride eastward toward to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and then ending at Ardbeg. Make my way home with the best bottle of scotch from each of the respective distilleries. This would take up most of my day, I think. Evening at the local waterhole. Visit friends for weekend dinners with a bottle of Lagavulin 16 Year Old.

Have you ever saved someone’s life?

No.

What do other people think is weird about you?

I don’t know really. I never care much to ask. Though I wonder what they think I think of them.

What do you think is one of the best things about you?

My liver.

What’s one responsibility you really wish you didn’t have?

All of them.

If you had a personal flag, what would be on it?

Rihanna’s face. I have an irrational and an unhealthy infatuation with her.

If a genie granted you 3 wishes right now, what would you wish for?

An infinite stock of bourbon and scotch.

What do you think about when you’re by yourself?

It’s split in half between sex, whisky and clever ways to write about those. I’ve figured out the latter, time to nail the former.

What would you want to be written on your tombstone?

Go live your life.

My mother.

Who is your fave (or one of your favourite) Steemians and why?

I’d have to say, @jaynie. She’s the exact opposite of me. Optimistic, motivated, and genuinely positive and upbeat. The only dodgy thing about her being that she hasn't sent that bottle of Caol Ila she owes me.

If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

Public disorder. It wouldn’t be the first time.

When you looked in the mirror first thing this morning, what was the first thing you thought?

What the hell? Oh, it’s you.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

My country elected a person up on charges of corruption and an accused rapist.

What is something that you just recently realized that you are embarrassed you didn’t realize earlier?

That I’m too easy to chat up. It’s not difficult for women to get me to bed. I guessed that might be a bit of a minx but never would have thought I was easy. That’s not to say I’m irresistible or some kind of alpha specimen. It’s more like I’m a rebound pack… something like that. I think.

What is your nickname?

It’s between Khan or Zee or Zach

As a Human Of Steemit, how do you contribute to Steemit?

I don’t think I bring much. There are a lot of writers on the platform that could do what I do better than me. If there’s anything, it be my love for whiskey and snobbish argument I suppose.
