For the past couple of days, I have learnt so much about @steemit and it's goals. It core objective of FREEDOM over censorship. Its decentralisation approach of economy and information. And ultimately, the burning desire to help others. A great vision to change the world.

I am learning more about the site's infrastructures and the potentials of this amazing innovation cannot be underscore in any way. Steemit is worthy future to follow!

My first teacher, Terry - @surpassinggoogle, is a man with selfless personality. He changed my orientation about dedication and selfless service to others. I wish I can say this to you one day in person.

Resources from @steemithelp and old nuggets from @stellabelle, @thecryptofiend, @roelandp, @curie, @smooth, @jerrybanfield, @teamsteem and many other selfless individuals on this platform are of immense value. Thank you all.

Humanity and Humanitarian

From the above statement, I am imploring @steemit staffs and thousands of authors on this platform to please support the #Humanity and #Humanitarian movement across the globe. Most especially in war and terrorism infested countries like #Syria, #Libya, #Yemen, #Afghanistan, #DRCongo, #Nigeria, #Ukraine, #CentralAfrica, #Iraq and many other places around. The world peace is more important now than ever.

There are few movements on Steemit but I know of @teardrops and few other users who actually posts on the matter. But there's so much we can do on this Platform to lend a voice and a hand to others closer to us in this regards.

I believe we can do something in raising awareness and concern, and possibly introduce @steemit as an avenue for the affected people to document their experiences.

We all have stories. We have all tasted the two sides of life. No doubt. But what makes us more stronger is in finding someone to lean on for support. Maybe we can offer a shoulder to these people.

Also, it is my believe that collectively, we can do greatly to ease their pains and the injustice suffered by these innocent children. The defenceless women and the aged too.

I am not asking for donations to them, I don't work in any charity and neither do I have the capacity to operate one. I am sure there are established charities all around. (YOU CAN STILL DONATE TO THESE PEOPLE)

However, what I am asking is a general awareness to trend this cause by everyone on @steemit. An attempt to show care, love and support to our fellow human at the centre of massive oppression and injustice. An attempt to re-awaken ourselves that the world needs us.

Nevertheless, this movement, to revive the #humanity consciousness of the Steemit populace won't likely become a widespread success without the assistance of the bigger ones among us: the "whales". Truly and really, they're the backbone of this platform. We need your "superpower" in championing this cause.

THE CHALLENGE (PROPOSAL)

1. Creating and posting original contents (articles, poems, stories, scripts, videos, animations, songs, photographs, drawings and arts) with the hashtag #Humanity. Efforts that communicate the message of hope and support towards all forms of oppression and social injustice. Either terrorism, wars, violence, bullying, domestic violence, famine, education, animal care etc.

2. Organising moderate contests to encourage others and equally brings out the creativity of people in supporting the movement.

3. The trending of the humanity tag and the hashtag too. For more visibility and awareness.

4. Provision of support and social outreach to the less privileged and affected subjects in our local communities.

5. Donations of supplies and other resources (time, energy, money or SBD/SP) to relevant programmes in relation to the humanitarian movement.

By this, we can all participate to share our utmost support to people who are passing through unspeakable injustice everyday all over the world.

We are not small to impact or change the world. We can help put smiles on millions faces.

WE CAN DO GREAT THINGS IN LITTLE WAYS.

There are millions of people even animals treated badly like non-living things that the mainstream media won't report or mostly censored. We can start to change that from now, today!

These simple acts when supported massively by everyone will surely attracts millions of people to the platform to contribute without fear of oppression. With sense of responsibility and fulfilment in doing great things.

Steem Inc. will equally be associated with Love worldwide beyond being a cryptocurrency company or a social network. An establishment with advocacy for World Peace.
