Save the Thug or your Expensive MacBook Pro- An Empathy Test
Danfo is the popular means of transportation in the city where I live, you must have seen yellow buses with black stripes in so many documentaries and some Hollywood movies, that's my cue, you can only get that in Eko-Ile- Lagos, West Africa.
Now, those buses comes with its own conductors i.e the guys who calls people to board the bus, and then there is the "Agbero", the freelancing guys that helps those danfos (yellow buses) with fresh passengers, they are now official, a known entity, a state supported union. These guys have no chill at all, mostly thugs and touts, they don't give a hoot about you or your safety, there job is to get you in their Danfos and collet the fares. If you fall off in the moving bus, that's a bye-bye!
They are really a nuisance in my city, no empathy, no emotions, I mean the bulk of those guys are thugs and touts, because you can't deal with the " Agberos" without been a professional thug.
THE TEST
In a moving bus, after you have managed to get one at close of businesses to get to your home, you have a chance to save either one of those Thugs or your very new and expensive MacBook pro, you can only save one, which one are you going to save?
Remember, if you are falling off, these guys might not save you, you MacBook Pro cost you a arm and a leg too, decide with this last piece of information!
Tbh, I would instinctively want to save my Mac because I am selfish and egocentric but at the same time I can probably get a new one but a new life no one can afford that...
