What happened to humanity?

I don't understand how you can be the greatest nation on earth supposedly and deny the poor and reward the rich. I have come to the realization. The civil war is upon us. The political system no longer supports the common peasant. Why should we not revolt against the system now? They have already said the facts out loud. They don't care if we die.
