Are all humans the same species?

This is a very controversial subject, a subject that can easily end up with people being accused of being racists but is it a stupid question? I don’t believe it is. Is it a even racist question? I do not believe it is. Why?

The two species of bird above were seen as not the same mainly due to the observation they do not breed with each other. But sometimes animals have been known to produce a offspring with a different species of animal, Lions have breed with Tigers and some bears like the Grizzly bears are said to be compatible with the polar bears.

The Liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger, thus both its parents are from the Panthera genus, but from different species.

So we know that animals do not necessarily have to be the same species to breed and can appear almost identical to a different species from themselves so who is to say that White people are the same species as Chinese people? There could even be white that are not the same species as other white people.

The billions of human beings living today all belong to one species: Homo sapiens. As in all species, there is variation among individual human beings, from size and shape to skin tone and eye color. But we are much more alike than we are different.

I have no doubt we are much more a like than we are different but does that make us all the same species?

Scientists acknowledge that different species of Human have existed in the past Neanderthal being the most well known and scientists also believe that the Neanderthal were sexually compatible with us and we actually still carry Neanderthal DNA to this day so are we as a species even the same species we were when we first existed? Probably not.

If there different species of human on earth or if we some races are a slightly different species to other races with slightly different strengths and weaknesses does that mean we should hate, destroy or even stop mixing or breeding with each other? I do not believe it does.

To ask the question are there multiple species of human is not racism to claim that a certain “race” or “species” is superior, more important or less important is racism. Even if we are more different to each other than we originally thought, we are still and will always be the same .
