Suroy-suroy (A Visayan poem)
Maanindot ang kalibutan,
Daghan kag lugar nga pwedeng masuruyan,
Hilabina gayud kung ang imung kauban,
Ang tawong nanag iya sa imung dughan,
Mag gunit dayon ta og kamut,
Unya mag ngisi-ngisi kay nahimuot,
Maglantaw sa pag salop sa adlaw,
Sa baybayon nga matugnaw,
Kung si Adan naay Eba,
Si John Llody naay Elen Adarna,
Ako naa puy tag-iya,
Nga Ikaw og walay lain pa,
Hinaut unta nga ning gugma mulahutay,
Kay ning kasing-kasing gibating tunhay,
Kayanon nato ang tanan,
Hangtod malibot nato ang KALIBUTAN.
