Huawei is Ready
Ren Zhengfei, founder and CEO of Huawei, spoke to the Chinese media for the first time since US President Trump gave Huawei a 90-day extension, following the US government's decision to ban Huawei a few days back.
He stated that the 90-day reprieve "doesn't mean much", adding that the company was ready to deal with the ban.
He further emphasised the need for US and Huawei to cooperate, to allow for better development of new technologies. While at it, he even thanked Huawei's US counterparts for supporting and contributing to their work all those years.
Zhengfei stressed that Huawei's 5G technologies is too far ahead for others in the field. Just like Telsa's technological march in their field.
