HOW TO CHECK A GOOD QUALITY GARMENTS OR CLOTHES : How To: Weekly Contest by @liamnov

This is my second entry for @howtoweekly contest. My entry is all about garments and how to know that you buy a good quality garments and clothes.

Here is some steps on how to know the garments is in good quality

1. You must check the appearance of garments or clothes. The important is the face of the clothes or is the garments beautiful to you to wear and the style trending in our generation today.

1. Composition and kind of fabrics used for the garments. When we buy a clothes, we must look the composition of the fabric used and it is found in the washtag and carelabel attach in the clothes you buy. Here is some composition of fabric : Cotton, silk, polyester, polyurethane, wool, and others. You have your own choice of what kind of fabric comfortable to you to wear.
2. You have to check out the measurements of the clothes. The measurements is most important when you buy a clothes. Each buyer will choose the measurements that fits to your body. Here are some measurements specification that we need to know and learn.

Shirt measurements specification.

A. BUSTLINE - it can measure from left armpit to right armpit.

B. WAISTLINE - it can measure in joining seam or in the curve portion of stress from Left side to right side seam.

C. HEMLINE - Round hemline or bottom of dress edge.

D. CENTER BACK AND CENTER FRONT - we can measure it from neckline down to hemline.

E. SLEEVE LENGTH - we can measure from armhole to sleeve hemline.

F. SHOULDER WIDTH - we can measure from left armhole to back neckline to right armhole.

G. NECKLINE AND ARMHOLE ROUND MEASUREMENT

Here is also pants and skirt measurements specification.

A. WAISTLINE - you can measure round waist edge.

B. HIPLINE - you can measure at zipper end portion then from side to side.

C. HEMLINE - round hemline edge at the bottom of the clothes.

D. SIDE AND INSIDE SEAM LENGTH - measure from waist down to hemline edge.

E. CENTER BACK AND CENTER FRONT - measure from waistline down to hemline.

1. Here is some steps on how to check the garments and clothes.

A. Check out the stitches is not broken and skip.

B. Check the machine tension that is needed for the fabric used.

C. Check the edging tension and is skip and broken.

D. Inside sewing tension if it is not loose and skipping.

E. Proper lay of joining seam if it is lay to back or front.

F. Pocket must be flat and not high and low. Must be the same in form.

G. Front center opening must be level not high and low.

H. Distribution of sharing of skirt must be balanced.

I. Proper pressing of collar. Must be the same form left and right.

J. Left and right sleeve length must be the same

K. Hemline edge must be straight or form based on the design you want.

L. Proper sewing of armhole by checking the tension of the stitches.

M. Iron must be good in appearance of the garments

N. Proper attachment of zipper. Must be not puckering..

O. Must have complete accessories attached liked buttons, ribbon and belt.

P. If you choose stripe and checkered fabrics stripe or design must be match and align.

Q. Lastly you should choose the brand of the clothes you need to buy.
