How to fix the Kohler Solenoid Problem the Right Way

I saw a few videos out here on Youtube on how to disable the solenoid, but this here is the right way to fix it. The old solenoid has the problem, that it overheats and then it gets stuck...

    I bought the kit on Amazon but my heat deflector is different than yours so the kit won't work. Mine doesn't use a gasket with a d-shaped hole
