First 10 days...on Steemit!
After 10 days , I would like to share my experiences so far and reveal my plans for a further development in the steem community.
What I already started putting in practice
Use the available tools in your favour
Look after the tools you need to make great content. To mention a few:
Use a repository of thousands of images license free in your blog. It is however recommendable mentioning the source of all images you publish - in case they are not your own:

Read the FAQ
In the first glance it is not easy to understand the platform - something that can be obvious but is really important reading the FAQ - that will save you later a lot time, so you understand the basics: https://steemit.com/faq.html
Use the posting tags in your favour
Yes you can post using very popular tags but remember there will be hundreds or thousands posts with the same tag. That does not mean you can misuse the tag, but on the other hand you can choose more carefully your tag and try to maximize attention.
- Please read the below post from @maverickfoo for more details: https://steemit.com/howto/@maverickfoo/daily-smart-tags-report-sunday-11th-february-2018
Contact others
This also seem to be obvious, but the beauty of this platform is allowing people to reach out to each other, sharing experiences and ideas. The more your interact the better for everyone!
Don't upvote too often
Each time you upvote someone, your steeem power decreases by approx. 2%. Therefore, you should upvote from 10 to 15 times a day.

What I will implement soon
Introduce yourself
As mentioned by many this has become a tradition in the space. I decided not introducing myself yet, because I wanted first to gain experience and also check what is the kind of content I would like to bring. You don't have to introduce yourself on day one, but if your do so that is also fine :)
Don't post too often
Sometimes I put myself the the situation of producing a lot of content and posting something 3 times a day - this might be difficult to keep up with and the quality of your posts might suffer on the long run. Therefore, try to post regularly (for example once or twice a day) but always try to bring a better content.
You can be ambitious and create multiple content
Of your you can focus on only one subject - for instance travel or sports - but you might also want to tell your audience something else. In that sense, you don't need to restrict yourself too much - you can bring other subjects to your posts. On the other hand try not to be to broad - as this might confuse your audience, especially at the beginning.
Be patient and build a network first
Don't expect instant rewards, try to enjoy the ride, i.e., check what is good out there - don't expect to be listed on the 'trending' that soon but always be proud of the content you produce!
Wish you success in your jorney. Appreciate if you could share your thoughts on the above - if you are new to the space or experienced ! Thank you!
Good post. I would add that using an app like eSteem facilitates posting from your mobile phone. I often use it when making simple posts of artwork, or for very short posts or comments while sitting in a bar. In fact just like I am doing now.
Thank you very much @coldmonkey for your valuable input - great to know that! Definitelly will look for eSteem for mobile!
Thanks for the mention!
Thanks for your great content that inspired this Post! Will keep following you.
