I think I am going to give the Markdown editor for Mac a try. When I first started on Steemit, I just used this handy Markdown cheatsheet: https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet and wrote everything in word. It would be easier to SEE the formatting as I'm writing though.
