HOW TO MAKE TOILET CLEANER WITH PICTURES

Keeping toilet clean on daily bases should be your priority. We eat every day, drink every day, have you ever wondered how the food digest and where the waste or unwanted food goes? Wondered why in our apartments there’s a small closet called “TOILET”

Ever worried about how to make a nice toilet cleaner by yourself at home? In our homes and workplaces, probably every day of our life we visit the man at the “WHITE HOUSE” so fondly called by many. Do you feel embarrassed when you have visitors and you pray they don’t get pressed so that they won’t see the shower of shame?
Well, you need not worry about what to use to clean your toilet or convenient, “oops” have you ever search for the meaning of that word convenient, I think you should.

Why you must keep your toilet clean

Research has it that most of the infectious diseases are gotten from the toilet because it’s a place where all germs and bacteria start their attack on the human body. Most time we visit the toilet without proper hand wash, of cause we know the effect of that, for we do not just infect ourselves but also infect others. These are the benefits:

Less sick leaves from office or workplace

Your visitors, friends, and client will be satisfied

Free germs and bacteria diseases such as; Escherichia coli (E-coli), Staphylococcus, rashes, Norovirus etc.

Making quality toilet cleaner at home

Making quality toilet cleaner in the home is fairly simple and for this exercise, we would be needing these pieces equipment:

1. HAND CLOVES: Helps to protect your hands from burnt and other chemical reactions while opening or mixing the chemicals
2. NOSE MASK: Protects you from inhalation of toxic fumes from the chemicals
3. LONG STICK: Use in turning of the chemicals
   N/B: This should be a wooden stick and not plastic or iron stick because chemicals do not do well with steels or irons and the wooden stick should be long enough above the water level you will use
4. Big plastic bowl or buckets.

There are two methods of producing quality toilet cleaner at home, both requiring very little effort and almost the same amount of ingredients listed below.

METHOD 1

2 liters of Hydrochloric acid (HCL)

Sodium Laurine Sulphate (SLS) or Texapon 1 Cup

4-5 litres of clean Water

Fragrance (as desire)

Glycerin (optional) as desire

Colour (optional) any water-soluble colour

Procedure:

1. In a bucket or big bowl soak the sodium laurin sulphate (SLS) with 4 liters of water, stir with a wooden stick and leave it overnight to melt to avoid having lumps in your end product.
2. The next day, stir with a wooden stick; add the 2 liters of Hydrochloric acid (HCL) in the soaked SLS and stir very well.
3. Add glycerin, fragrance, and color and stir very well until incorporated. You toilet cleaner is ready.

METHOD 2 (For thicker toilet cleaner)

Hydrochloric acid (HCL) 2 liters

Texapon 1 Cup

Water 4-5 liters

Fragrance (optional) as desired

Glycerin (optional) as desired

Colour (optional) any water-soluble color

Procedure:

1. In a bowl pour the 4 liters of water
2. Add the texapon and stir, add HCL stir very well finally add the color. You toilet cleaner is ready.
   WARNING:
3. please all the process above should be done in open air environment, not inside the house
4. Keep away from the reach of children
