Live Streaming to YouTube with Hangouts in 4 Easy Steps

Ok so Google obviously sucks, but some of their stuff is just not easily replaceable at this point.

In the meantime, truthers still need to get their message out, so we hold our nose and half-heartedly use the platforms that shun and despise us.

Until there is a blockchain version that is this easy, here's a guide on how to host a live stream on LoserTube with Hangouts.

I'm in the process of weaning off of Google products completely, and would love to see a blockchain version that makes hosting a live interview session this easy. If you know of any projects in the works please let me know.

Until then, here's how you can use their tools to get your message out (hopefully in a way that they don't censor).

Step 1: From your Dashboard, click the Events link under the LIVE STREAMING header.

Step 2: Fill in pertinent details. Make sure you select Quick (Google Hangouts) under Type.

Step 3: Click Go Live Now

Step 4: Start Broadcast

You're now live, the link is accessible from the Events page references above.

I highly recommend embedding your stream in a steemit post and then uploading the video to d.tube when it's complete (which I can cover in a subsequent post).
