Remixing is like the electronic music producers' equivalent of doing a cover song. Not only can this be super fun and a great way to practice, but it has also bolstered the reputations of many electronic artists (granted you're aware and respectful of copyright laws). Once you have a decent grasp on composition and arrangement, it can still be difficult to grid and edit your audio appropriately to get your sample to fit.
