Part Two : How To Develop Duck Farm ( Lets make the enclosure)

In my last article (Part One : How To develop Duck Farm), I share information about the development of duck in terms of management. Today I will share information about duck cage. ok friends, there is some type of ducks cage. There is a wet and dry cage type. cage type that I made is a dry cage.
Why use this type? Initially I did not know what the advantages of the cage by that type. Then I asked a friend who had started this work and have been successful. He said that the maintenance of duck with dried cage system will bring many benefits.

1. The cage does not stink
   Why do not stink? In general, when breeding duck most disturbing thing was the smell of feces. The smell of Duck feces is worse than cow dung or goat manure so that people who live near of the ducks cage will be disturbed by the smell of issuance. That's why people prefer to place it in the sparsely populated region or far away from human settlements. Actually, by breeding duck with a dry-type enclosure will create a cage cleaner, easier to clean Due to the cage so that the duck was not susceptible to disease.

2. Egg production increased to more
   Another advantage gained from the dry-type cage egg production is the result of more and good quality. This is because in a dry cage will ensure nutritional food Because ducks more awake and stimulate ducks to continue to lay eggs.

3. More easily monitored
   With a dry stable condition, we will be able to more easily monitor the progress of ducks. We can see where it hurts and what is healthy. And if it appears there are sick we can separate from the herd to treat and prevent transmission of disease to other ducks.

4. Time is more effective
   With dry duck cage condition, we have effective time. We can monitor it from the outside and leave the food alone
   After hearing the explanation, I and friends work together to create a cage of ducks with dry type and was indeed the result was good as was said before. The following figure shows how me and friends to work together to make the cage ducks. We are very compact. We made a duck drums with a capacity of 1000 ducks on a land area of 1 hectare. The materials required are:

• bamboo rod size 7m = 90 rod

• Nail zinc = 16 boxes

• Net = 48 Kg

• Nylon rope 2 mm = 100 rolls

• Palm Leaves = 3150 sheets

• Nylon rope 4 mm = 20 rolls

• Sawdust = 100 sacks
