How to make your Armpits happy?

I promise that this is nothing gross. No gory pictures of people with hairy armpits.

But armpits matters because nobody smells good with sweaty armpits. And talking about armpits, we shouldn’t feel shy about it because everyone has armpits and armpits is one of the important part of our body that keeps us healthy.

Okay, let's get this rolling. I first noticed this product during our recent One Day Chinese New Year Bazaar at Pearl Shopping Gallery. I find it interesting because I have never seen anything like it.

I have seen a roll on, tissue type (use once a week) or spray types but creamy type and wipe it on your armpit? Now that’s new!

The ingredients list

Not only it is sans unnecessary chemical aka the nasties, it comes in 5 different smell too. I almost chose Rose Vanilla, but worry that I will end up smelling like an ice-cream I chose Lavender instead for its soothing properties.

It is a pricey bit, RM45 a pot. But for the sake of trying and seeing the kind of ingredients that goes into the making of such deodorant (and they refund if the product is less satisfactory!), perhaps it might be worth it.

Blood and lymph vessels serving the arm travels through the armpit. There were about 20 lymph nodes (that we can’t feel) found on each of our armpits. Lymph nodes are small lumps of tissue that are part of the body's lymphatic system, which helps fight infection. The body expels toxins from many areas, one of it are the armpits.

If we block the armpit’s pores, we cannot expel toxins, environmental pollutants and heavy metals. Hence, we need to be very careful when applying deodorants on that area. This is because most commercially produced deodorants that are easily bought from the stores are chemically laden that can affect our health in the long run, one of it is cancer.

So me being a skeptic, it took me a while to take it out and try. I wonder how it felt on my armpits. Will it be wet and sticky? Ughh.

Darn it! Stop guessing, just try it already! So here goes.

They smell really good!

I took the pot out, removed the inner cover (it was there for hygiene purpose) and using my index finger, I gently scoop very little of the content from the jar and wipe it on one of my armpit. I felt a powdery finish and not sticky. Then I did the same for the other armpit.

And then satisfied that I had applied it well and most importantly feeling non sticky, I wore my top and went out.

Yep, I went out the whole day for Chinese New Year visits and to my surprise I didn’t stink nor feel any sticky wetness on both my armpits! Amazingness!

I still feel dry and comfy even when I am back home.
