How Does the Web Work-The Internet is a storehouse of information, on which a lot of information is present in the form of images, videos, and writing, which is present in large server rooms, every information is on some website and page which has its own IP address. When we search in a browser, we get a lot of information related to it and whatever information we open, it opens on a web page.
The computers that make of these websites available are called Web server. On any computer that’s connected to the net, you’ll be able to run an application called an internet browser. Technically, an internet browser is termed an internet client-that is, a program that’s able to contact an internet server and request information.
When the online server receives the requested information, it’s for this information within its classification system, and sends out the requested information via the web. all of them speak a typical ”language,” called Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). (HTTP isn’t a language just like the ones people speak. it is a set of rules or procedures, called protocols, that permits computers to exchange information over the net.) no matter where these computers reside-China, Norway, or Austin, Texas-they can communicate with one another through HTTP.
How Does the Web Work – Most web content contain hyperlinks, which are specially formatted words or phrases that enable you to access another page on the online. Although the hyperlink usually doesn’t make the address of this page visible, it contains all the knowledge needed for your computer to request an internet page from another computer.
When you click on hyperlink, your computer send a message called an HTTP request. This message says, in effect, ”Please send me the net page that i would like.”

The Web server receives the request, and appearance within its stored files for the online page you requested. When it finds the net page, it sends it to your computer, and your application displays it. If the page isn’t found, you see a blunder message, which probably includes the HTTP code for this error: 404, ”Not Found,”
