Can you get rich with crypto currency?
You can get rich with crypto currency, stocks, Forex, real estate, bonds - just about anything where you make money from investing. This is true as long as the returns are high enough.
But it depends a lot on where you’re starting from, what your goals are, and how quickly you want to get there. If you’re starting with a few hundred dollars and you want to get stratospherically wealthy, then that’s going to take a while. Even the parabolic rise in bitcoin that seemed to suddenly shoot up in 2017 was actually several years in the making. The biggest winners were people who bought bitcoin when it was extremely cheap in the early ‘00s because they saw the potential and held it. They didn’t necessarily spend a lot of money to buy the bitcoin back then. But people who put most of their net worth into bitcoin in 2017 generally haven’t done as well.
I know people who have blown up their accounts in other types of trading by taking massive risks that turned against them. It’s not fun, it can be devastating, and it eventually happens to people who take huge risks and don’t practice risk management. That includes not putting more than a small percentage of your wealth into any one type of asset, and knowing when to cut your loses if it goes south on you.
Having said that, is it possible to get rich quickly? It is, but luck plays a big part in that, and you can’t control luck. You can make luck much more likely for you by doing the right things consistently. You’re going to be much better off if you learn how to trade, read price action on candlestick charts, take profits from time to time and reinvest those profits, while work on your psychology so you don’t get into the euphoria of wins and the depression of loses.
