HOW TO SET UP A WELDING MACHINE WITH IMAGES
WELDING
This is a fabrication process of joining thermoplastics or metals by heat.
This is a tutorial on how to set up a welding machine before use. This is a welding machine of
32 AMPERES Input
415 VOLT Supply
100 VOLT O.C.V
You will be needing one material called WELDING TONGUE.
Step 1:
Ensure the electric cable for supply is fixed to the electric source and have your welding machine ready for setup.
There are two outlet from the welding machine
The positive outlet (welding handle) or Electrode cable terminal and The negative outlet (earth clamp) or Ground cable terminal.
Step 2:
The positive outlet is where you will connect the welding TONGUE
This is the welding TONGUE that will be connected to the positive outlet coming from the welding machine.
Step 3:
The negative outlet is also called EARTH CLAMP .
You are going to connect a cable or an iron rod to the negative outlet coming from the welding machine and ensure it touches a part of the metal you want to weld together.
Step 4:
This is where you get to fix the electrode into the welding tongue
In this image, electrode is the item marked "red". This is the item the welding machine melt down to join irons and metals together . Then you go into operation
Step 5:
This is the point where you control the operation of the machine . Here we have the switch, the regulator and regulator indicator screen.
With the WELDING TONGUE and THE EARTH been fixed appropriately to where they ought to be, the next thing to do is to switch on the machine .
STEP 6:
Here you adjust the regulator according to the type of iron you want to weld together. In this image it was set to be 103. At this point, our welding machine is ready for use.
Thats higher technical, good job.
