WOW! this is amazing man ! wish i could afford something like this one day! I have never seen a house boat like this, I dont tend to either ( live in more of a ski area see more skis then anything lol) Hopefullly when its done we can see some pics inside ! thanks for sharing followed!

It has been sitting dormant for a few years do to medical issues. I have new engines that have never been started, and it is floating safely besides my other boat, which sank, due to bilge pump failure, heavy tropical rains, and my lack of attention, due to just getting out of the hospital from a stroke I had in my sleep. Im not sure I will live to see its completion, but at least I have made it this far. It would be great to have someone who would be willing to help me finish it- all of the materials are on board and paid for. Im just in no physical position to do it, and now just a shadow of my former self.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that , I hope you find someone to help you with the build and are able to set sail someday soon hopefully ! I wish you all the best !

I just wish I had a son or daughter to help me. Its almost done, but the heat here in Florida is unbearable, and Im confined to the inside of my house until dark, when my three small dogs and I go to the mailbox at the front of the property to check the mail. I now realize Ive wasted my life working to make others rich, and put my exwife through medical school, so she could divorce me for a doctor. I just want to finish the boat, refill the fuel and water tanks, and leave Black Hammock Island for a trip to Bird Island, then head south to St. Auguatine, Stay in the harbor a few days, then Daytona, and all the other cities along the intracoastal, until I reach Key West, as I sleep inside in the AC during the day. Its the only thing on my bucket list

I had budgeted 12K$ for the entire project, now I have spent over 45k$, and im 90% finished. Or at least I think Im 90% finished. Notice how there is no one around helping. But everyone wants to know when it will be ready, so they can enjoy the pleasure, without paying in sweat first. $13,800 for the vessel, $2,800 for the 8 stand to support it. $1,200 for 4 hours of 40 ton crane rental to remove it from the water, $7000 for the construction of the composite bracket, to securely hold the pair of $25,500 Honda 60hp commercial engines, $5,500 for hydraulic steering helms, wheels, hoses and shift and throttle cables and hydraulic fluid, and another $1,200 for 4 hour crane rental, to put it back into the Nassau river on Black Hammock Island.
