Acid House - Josh Wink
For Wednesday House here a track that might not be that commercial but for one like me not into Acid a good one. Josh Wink with - 'Higher State Of Consciousness' - an Acid guru, his fan base gets mad when this is played - I heard!
Originally this was a chart breaker in the UK 1995 and was remixed by a lot of DJs - even used by some adult entertainment companies.
About the DJ
Wink aka Josh Wink - born as Joshua Winkelman is one of the few pioneers of electronic music in the US. He is not only DJ but also in addition label owner, producer, remixer, and artist and is known for hitting the tribal forms of techno and house. He had several successful tunes in the US with Higher State of Consciousness being a chart breaker across Europe.
Saw him in Chicago in the late 90s. Great show.
I like this mix but prefer the original.
