Ukraine aid is back in discussion.

I worry that this might very well be correct. We will see next week. Mike Johnson at least ostensibly says Ukraine aid will be a priority when the House returns from recess next week.

Mike Johnson has said he may change it to adopt Trump's dumb idea to have Ukraine aid be a loan. And attach seizing Russian frozen assets to help Ukraine (although most of the Russian frozen assets are held in Europe not the US). He also may attach natural gas export licenses to the bill.

At this point the Senate passed version may lose several Democrats with the Israel aid attached. Some Democrats want further aid for Palestinians attached to the bill, which may lose Republicans.
