to POST or not to POST full movie in DTUBE ?

I am new to steemit and not used dtube at all , came across some article with discussion about
copyright material on dtube full length movies , someone making money using dtube posting movies, and he was hit hard by some members of steem , some kinda whales, who is those whales, what kind of community steem is if someone can decide
what is wrong and what not, if someone slum/punish the member who was posting movies on dtube , isn't it taking justice to their own hands ?

let say i worked hard and made car and someone took it for a ride , or working for a day as a taxi making money using my car
i would not enjoy it much
that's how i see posting movies on dtube and making profit ,
but in other hand it decentralized , whatever we cannot post in you tube we can post dtube, youtube allow pretty much all all types of videos to be posted even copyright videos, just cannot make money on it,
Cam someone clarify why dtube created ? and what we can post there ? what benefits i will have if any, posting to dtube, sounds to me there in no much difference between youtube and dtube,
do i have to post to dtube just because it has word "decentralized" ?
