Around the Campfire: The Keyhole

This is a story of a man who checked into a hotel. Upon checking in, the woman at the front desk informed him that there was a numberless door next to his room which served as a storage room. She also warned him to never try to open it or take a look inside. The man just shrugged, followed her orders despite his curiosity. 

On the following days, the man got too curious to let it simply pass. As he passed the numberless door, he tried to turn the knob but it was locked. He then proceeded to take a peek through the keyhole. What he saw was nothing out of the ordinary. It looked like and ordinary hotel room, just like his. But there was a pale woman standing by the corner with her head resting on the wall. The man just ignored this, and proceeded to his room. 

On the man’s last day, he decided to peek once more. All he saw was the deep color blue this time. Maybe the pale woman suspected someone looking, and so she blocked the keyhole.  

When he checked out, he asked the woman at the front desk about what he saw. The woman sighed and asked the man if he tried to peek through the keyhole. After confirmation, the woman told him the story. Years ago, a man had murdered his wife in the very room, and her ghost remains. The ghost is said to be pale, except for her eyes- which were a deep blue.
