To win, you don't need to use the same mean as your competitor.
"The end justifies the means."
Use what you like and what you are good at.
If you win at the end, you are just right in adopting the means.

For example, to make more sales than your colleagues, use your personal friends.
Or, to win a competition, have a pleasant conversation about the common hobby with the potential customer who organizes the competition.

I admit that there is a risk that your mean is denied by your serious boss who believes personal life should not be brought into businesses.
But you won't talk about when you lose if you are determined to win.

The competitions may be on the day after tomorrow, the 16th of this month.
At the competition, you can probably use the same mean as your competitor.
But for its groundwork, you are free to do anything as long as you comply with the law.

The stars are indicating a "final push" on the 16th.
In my case, the 16th is the deadline of final projects of a drawing school (Actually I've already submitted).
Or, some people could have exams on the 16th.

In my school days, just before exams, I always regretted that I should have prepared well ahead of the exams as I was preparing for the exams all night.
And I have never prepared well ahead until the end of my university life.
I hope all of you will be well prepared on the 16th :)

勝利するために、戦う相手と同じ土俵に立つ必要はないのだと思う。
「勝てば官軍、負ければ賊軍」じゃないのだけど。
あなたはあなたなりのやり方で最終的に勝てば、あなたが正義だとされるのではないかなと思う。

例えば、会社の売上で同僚に勝つために、プライベートな人脈を活用するとか。
例えば、会社のコンペで勝つために、プレゼンする見込み客との共通の趣味を活用するとか。

まああなたのやり方で負けた場合は、あなたのやり方ごと否定されるリスクはあるけれども。
例えば、お堅い上司に、会社とプライベートをまぜこぜにしてはいけない、みたいにたしなめられたり。
でも、負けた時の心配をしていたら、勝負に勝てないでしょう。

本格的な勝負は明後日16日なのかなと思う。
その時には、相手と同じ手段でもって勝ちにいくほかないとは思うけど。
それまでは、あなたの好きなようにやってみると、勝機が見えてくるかもしれない。

明後日16日は、私が通ってたスクールの最終課題の締め切りでもある。
ひょっとしたら、みなさんの中にも、明後日テストがあるとか、課題や仕事の締め切りがある人もいるのかもしれない。
私はもう最終課題を提出してしまったのだけど。

ラストスパートっぽい星回りだけど、自分の努力や力の足りなさを痛感したりもするかもしれない。
例えば、徹夜でテスト勉強をするはめになり、もっと日頃から勉強していれば徹夜で勉強する必要なかったのに、と後悔したり。
まあ、そういう後悔をしても、テストが終わったらすっかり忘れて、日頃の勉強はしないんだけどね。
