You may have a mission to accomplish in your life.
But your mission won't be given by society or your boss.
You give yourself a mission.

The mission you give yourself might not be in the form of existing jobs.
You are lucky if your mission is in the form.
For example, you like to write comics, but you don't feel like to write what people want to read.
Or you like to work out strategies of companies, but it doesn't mean you want to provide strategies like those provided by general consulting firms which tend to chase short-term results.

Those of you whose missions cannot be accomplished by existing jobs need to create new jobs by yourselves.
You need to make products and sell them by yourselves.
Then, you can chase what you want to do.
By being independent, you can now try to find a compromise between what you want to do and what markets want.

I know even if you are independent, you still need to earn for a living, and it makes it difficult to chase what you want.
But I think the stars tomorrow are advising you to stop to think if you are doing what you really want to do.

それは上司や社会が決めるものではなく。
あなた自身で、決めるものだと思うんだよね。
外が決めるのではなく、あなたの内が決める。

あなたの内から決めたものは、そのままでは、社会的に通用しないかもしれない。
例えば、漫画家になりたい、とか、既存の職業があなたの内からでてくればよいけど。
大半の人はそうではないと思うんだよね。
例えば、漫画描くのは好きだけど、人気を得るために腐心したり、漫画家のような激務をこなしたりっていうのはピンとこない、とか。
例えば、戦略を考えるのが好きで戦略担当をしたいんだけど、一般的なコンサルティング会社が提供するような、目先の数字を追うような戦略をやりたいわけじゃないとか。

そういう、既存の職業の枠にはまれれない人は。
やはり独立するしかないんだよね。
自分自身で商品を作って流通させ、自分自身で顧客を獲得する。
独立すれば、自分にしっくりくるスタイルを追求できる。
自分のやりたいことと、社会の需要との折り合う点を探ることができる。
企業にお勤めの立場や、雑誌に漫画描いてる立場だと、なかなかそれは難しいからね。

まあ、大半の人は、食い扶持稼がないといけないから、独立しても自分のスタイルを追求とか悠長なこと言ってられないとは思うんだけど。
一歩立ち止まって、自分の本当にやりたいことは何か考えてもいいのではないかなと思う。
