Maybe your ambition is too big.
It's important you have ambition.
But it's pointless you fail to achieve it because the ambition is just too big.
Be as you are and don't go for too big.

What drove you into doing it?
It will be, of course, the happiest moment when you achieve your ambition.
But more importantly, you should feel happy at this moment while you are pursuing it.

But you still remember the time you spent on the ambition was joyous.
I think that's the ideal way of spending your time.
You feel joy at the moment you are doing it.
Don't think it's a time of patience while you are trying to achieve your ambition.

今に喜びを感じられればいいよね。

目標を設定しなおしてみる、目標を小目標に分割してみることで、自分の今の技術レベルが把握できたり、目標までの道のりが見えてくるのかもしれない。
