In the Beginning
Amongst other gods, who is like unto thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders hallelujah. Moses led the children of Israel to sing this song after witnessing his mighty deliverance from the pursuit of the Egyptians. God had parted the red sea and caused the chariots of Egypt to get drowned in the sea.
Moses acknowledges the presence of other gods but God the creator of the heaves is the God of all gods. He is the greatest of them all. He created them. David in his writing will acknowledge that they are gods but they will die like mere men. Referring to the gods that rebelled against God.
In the beginning, after God created man, man was being the peak of Gods creation was to have dominion over all God had created. God put him in charge of affairs that happened on the earth and sort for man to be like him. Lucifer rebelled against God causing the fall of man and Lucifer came in control of the earth for a while.
But God who is rich in Mercy had a plan. He made a promise to man of a seed that would come a bruise the head of the serpent.
