We are considering increasing the tax burden for miners, at the moment we are also considering linking the tax rate to miners with the cost of cryptocurrency. An increase in cryptocurrency would be good for the budget.

The measure appears to be part of a broader national strategy to benefit from the expanding sector. Kazakh President Qasim-Jomart Tokayev appears to have ordered a 10-fold increase in taxes on BTC mines.

After China imposed a complete ban on bitcoin mining, large operations were forced to find new homes. The miners have moved to the United States, parts of Europe, and neighboring China.
