It has been nearly a year since the Winklevoss brothers purchased the first known bitcoin from the now-defunct Silk Road, founded by Ross Ulbricht. In doing so, Cameron and Tyler made history as the first major investors in Bitcoin. With their purchase of approximately $11 million worth of BC, they instantly became high rollers among tech investors, who continued to purchase even more bitcoins from exchanges such as Mt.Gox.
