PM's Iftar in honor of professionals

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina organized the Iftar Mahfil in honor of several professionals at her official Ganobhaban residence on Monday.

In the iftar mahfil, various public and private university vice chancellors and teachers, various media editors and senior journalists, doctors, engineers, lawyers, businessmen, writers, poets, literary, intellectuals, singers, sports persons took part. Prior to Iftar, the Prime Minister exchanged greetings with the visiting guests after visiting the various tables of Iftar Mahfil.

At the time, the munajat was held for the continuous peace-progress of country, nation and Muslim Ummah. Munajat was given the blessings of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and on 15 August 1975 all the martyrs of the Kalarat, the national leaders of four and the martyred freedom fighters, also in the court of the Almighty.
Mawlana Mahibullah al-Baki, the junior Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, administers the Munshat.
