Honeymoon on budget

in #honeymoon8 years ago

My husband and I ended up without a penni  after our wedding, but we did not want to miss the opportunity to take a few days to rest and have a beautiful memory of our honeymoon. To be honest at the end of the wedding, we only had about 900 dollars to be able to do any activity and I confess this money was in coins of 1  mexican peso from a piggy bank. With that amount the truth is that we could not cover a trip to the beach, since these are usually quoted in dollars to attract foreign tourists, not to mention that our currency has been quite unstable in recent months. So we decided to travel to a magical town, a recognition that is given in Mexico to localities that maintain much of their traditions and continue to prevail Mexican folklore.

That is why we decided to travel to a magical town, a recognition that is granted in Mexico to localities that maintain much of their traditions and continue to prevail Mexican folklore, so when you see the website of the magic villages of Mexico, we select Valle de Bravo, which we stayed about 3 hours from our city Cuernavaca. Valle de Bravo was already a village known for me but it was totally new for my husband, so I decided to become the best tourist guide and try to show him the best of this small town. In addition, since the budget was somewhat limited, it was necessary to be creative and maximize the resources we had. That's why we decided to stay in a small cabin on the outskirts of Valle de Bravo in a town called Avandaro, which I believe were a dream, since the rainy and cold climate of the town gave it a special charm, because where we live we always have a mild climate . Each night cost us about $ 100 dollars and we were a total of 3 but believe me the place was so cute that it was worth it and we would have hardly found anything more economical in Valle.

Although the cabins had no view of the lagoon of Valle de Bravo which is one of the best attractions of the village, they were only 5 minutes by car and closer to Avandaro which in recent years has become a luxury destination And lots of services like restaurants and bars. For example there are a lot of international restaurants that offer a highly romantic atmosphere which was ideal for our honeymoon as well as different places to try different desserts such as handmade lavender ice cream. Approximately in meals we spend like 150 dollars but these include bottles of wine and dessert ~~ But without a doubt, the true charm of Bravo Valley lies in its forests and waterfalls that allow you to enjoy nature wherever you go. Personally more than the lagoon, enjoy a lot of walking towards the avocado groves and see 4 Leaves as well as feel the aroma of the pines. As well as going to the great Stupa a Buddhist temple in which they believe the energy is amazing and the peace and tranquility in them has no way of expressing itself-. Many of the tours in Valle de Bravo and Avandaro are free or only charge about $ 2 per person, but there are others like boat rides in the lagoon that are usually a bit more expensive. In entertainment we spend about 150 dollars for 4 days.

Without doubt this trip was one of the trips that I have enjoyed the most, since it was not only to be in contact with nature, but to be able to enjoy my husband more and share with him the sunsets at the lake shore, to be able to walk in the Forest taken by hand and the power to enjoy new flavors as well as the warmth of the people of Valle de Bravo and Avándaro.
