Goods made on the homestead challenge entry

Ornaments made from our ducks and chickens feathers.

We put our name on them with a stamper.

Some were glass ornaments and some were plastic. You can't tell a difference unless you tap them together. The plastic are a good option for the kids or people with butter fingers. lol

We go through a lot of feed bags with all the animals on the farm. My wife said she thinks she could turn them into grocery bag/tote/every day purse. haha

   She did a great job!

We are thinking about delivering our CSA in these bags. What do you think of that idea?

They are built very tough! She has a nice Baby Lock embroidery machine.

This isn't even all the different type of bags. lol

My GORGEOUS wife and I at our first booth selling some GOODS MADE ON THE HOMESTEAD. We had our ornaments, bags, egg's, CSA sign up and our whole hog half hog sign up sheets. It was at a event in December where kids (adults to) got to sit on Santa's lap, do some crafts and listen to MRS Claus read a story wile the parents could do a little shopping.

This is a really cool idea! I like how resourceful you guys are being and are turning it into a way to make a little extra money. I think that the ornaments are a very interesting and I am sure that you have no problem selling them. Great Job!

Those ornaments are gorgeous - I can see those feathers being very versatile in the DIY world. And I love the bags! Looks to be the perfect, sturdy tote for grocery shopping. Here in CA, they now charge .10 cents per plastic bag if you dont bring your own reusable one! Do you sell these online anywhere?

Dang 10 cents a bag. 😳 That's crazy. The only place we have them online right now is at our FB page. https://www.facebook.com/HOPFarmNC/
Thank you for the comment @madpotters😁
