Livestock Chickens And How to Feed Regularly

Hello steemian ..
How are you all ? I hope you guys are still in good shape. This time I will share a little tips on how to raise chickens, may be useful for us all and this is how to raise chickens.

How to Breed Chickens ..

1. Kampung Cattle Kampung Ektensif System (Traditional) Extensive system or traditional system is the most widely done system in raising chickens by people in Indonesia. This system is also called the system of umbaran, the livestock is allowed to loose free cage without enclosure. Traditional chicken cattle are mostly done by people who live in rural areas, given the availability of land that is still wide. Farmers consider this only a side business, and therefore they do not pay much attention to technical aspects and economic calculations. Chicken (traditional) chicken livestock systems are generally only done on a small scale. Breeders only utilize the livestock, be it chicken or eggs for their own purposes. With traditional systems, farmers do not need to pay for the purchase of feed. Feed is only given if there are food scraps, and the chicken will find its own food additives in nature. Capital in chicken livestock activities with this system is relatively low, but the productivity is also low. Breeding chicken with this system also does not require a cage, because at night the chickens are usually left perched on the trees that are around the house. There are also breeders who provide cages, but only as a place to sleep at night.
While in the afternoon the chickens are allowed to loose and feed themselves around the yard. Traditional chicken breeding system has many weaknesses, among others, as follows; a). The death of chicks is relatively high, because the chicks are not well maintained and left off with their mothers. b). Chickens are very vulnerable to wild animals, such as snakes, weasels, lizards, hawks and other predators. c). Productivity is very low, both meat and eggs.

  2. LITTLE CEREMONY KAMPUNG
Next Stage and how to take care of it..
Semi Intensive System In semi-intensive system, chicken livestock is done in medium scale to large scale. In this system the chickens are kept and removed on the expanse of land / yard. However, the chamber is limited to the land only because the surrounding is made of fence so that the livestock does not come out. Inside the fence also made the cage as a place to shelter the chickens at night or take shelter if it rains. In this system the land is left natural and grounded as normal to allow cattle to obtain additional food easily.
Maintenance of semi-intensive chicken with semi-intensive system begins with the separation of newly hatched chicks from its mother. Chicks are kept in special cages and fed according to their needs.
The percentage of mortality rate of chicks is much lower because the chicks are well preserved.
In addition, chicks are safer from disturbance of wild animals or adult chickens. Feeding is done once a day, ie every morning before the chickens are removed from the cage. Furthermore, chickens can find their own feed inside the yard enclosure. In order for the availability of natural food is maintained, occasionally the ground inside the cage is hoisted so as not to dense and the earthworms can grow well. Farming chicken with semi-intensive system requires sufficient land. The number of poultry kept in accordance with the availability of land.

 3. Super Java Chicken or super chicken is a good business opportunity to be occupied.
In Joper breeding, we can start as a producer of DOC, enlarging DOC to become Pullet or enlargement until it becomes super ready to consume.
Each process has its own breeders although not denied many now breeders who choose to raise the DOC to become super chicken ready for consumption. Moreover, the time required for enlargement is not so long.
The enlargement of Javanese Super chicken is faster than if it is to keep ordinary chickens. If a normal new chicken can be harvested when aged 4-5 months, then Joper chicken can be harvested at the age of 55-60 days or about 2 months.
That is an advantage because within a period of a year ranchers can harvest jong about 4-5 times while if the chicken only two times a year.
In terms of time it is very efficient at all.
Practically will affect the feed efficiency as well.

D. How to give Chicken Feed to Kampung Chicken
Feed also has a big share in the success of chicken farming. A good feed should contain enough protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals needed by livestock. Chicken feed does not have to be pellets or concentrates, feed can be anything as long as healthy and not at risk of causing illness. This is where one of the advantages in the chicken farming business because feeding is not as complicated as the cattle races. Chicken feed can be worms, insects or food remains that have not roted.
Here is the dosage of chicken feeding according to the age level;
> Age 0 - 7 days: feed given 7 grams / head / day
> Age 8 - 14 days: feed given 19 gram / head / day
> Age 15 - 21 days: feed given 34 grams / head / day
> Age 22 - 28 days: feed given 47 grams / head / day
> Age 29 - 35 days: feed given 58 grams / head / day
> Age 36 - 42 days: feed given 66 grams / head / day
> Age 43 - 49 days: feed given 72 grams / head / day
> Age 50 - 56 days: feed given 74 grams / head / day
> Water is given sufficiently and need to be added vitamins and antibiotics, especially at the beginning of maintenance when the chicken is still small. Chicks aged 0-14 days are very vulnerable to health problems.

 The enclosure system ...

For chicken coop Joper almost the same as broiler or Leghor chicken. There are several kinds of cages depending on the age of the chicken. For brooder cage / brooder will be different from the enlarged cage from grower to finisher.  At the time of starter, DOC (1-4 weeks) maintained in a closed enclosure and semi-closed. The cage uses an artificial heater to keep the DOC warm. At 4-6 weeks, use a semi-enclosed cage.
The wall of the cage is high for the top can with wire. For better floors if using a tenuous model cage to reduce the chicken contaminated with the dirt itself.
Cage distance should not be too close to facilitate the cleaning and keep the air circulation maintained.
Feed DOC Chicken Joper  DOC chicken Joper is fed with the same concentrate as chicken pieces.
Chicken is given food 3 times a day.
