How to make a casket box in a rustic style with draping of colored leather.

To begin with, we need a casket. I do not have the opportunity to make these boxes myself, so I order them from a familiar master.

We need:
a blank of casket box
cutters for wood
pieces of colored leather (I buy them as scraps in all kinds of ateliers)
glue for the skin (I do not know the foreign analog, we have "glue №88")
branches of trees, peeled from the bark
small wooden bars

Wooden bars and branches. These pieces of wood are already cut out in the form of houses, and on one of them already carving.

Then we give vent to fantasy.
I cut the sides of the casket facades of houses in a style similar to the European medieval, adapted to our time.

I wanted to do so precisely because in our city there is a whole block of such houses. They were built by German prisoners of war after the Second World War.

Also, form small houses of small pieces of wood and cut them "windows", "doors", etc.

Expose the houses on the lid of the casket. Glue them.

Free places are filled with skin. The skin is glued so that creases are formed. Before gluing pieces of skin edges they must be wrapped inside, otherwise it will not turn out very nicely.

The land is brown or black.

Next, we take the cream paint for the skin of black or dark brown and paint all the leather details.

Then we use alcohol to remove excess paint

It turns partially dyed skin.
