homesteading photography challenge - animal theme
many, many thanks to @knowledge-seeker for hosting this fun contest! now that i go back and re-read the theme, i'm making a post with an animal (gheez, i am the worst at skimming sometimes).
everyone, say hi to soxita.
she is the protector of all the garden tomatoes, considers herself a connoisseur of northwestern grasses, and loves soaking up the sun.
she will be 17 in april and will sleep in the crook of my arm during the winter. better than any alarm clock, i am awoken around 4am to having my hair eaten out of sheer hunger! because it's been a whole six hours since she's been fed last!
she's my favourite li'l stinker =D
