Pink Pumpkins?

Our wheelbarrows full of pumpkins are dwindling as we feed our rabbits to make them plump and juicy. This pumpkin however decided to try to fake being a watermelon. Not sure what kind of mold it is, but it was almost blood red when the hubbie cut it apart. He actually had to check his fingers to make sure he hadn't cut himself. Then he pulled apart the halves to find the poor pumpkin unusable.

Needless to say the bunny rabbits were mad at him for not getting their treat today.
