Bunny Rabbits and Pumpkins Tuesday Orange Color Challenge

We ended up with almost two wheelbarrows full of pumpkins from our garden this Fall. The ironic part is I didn't plant pumpkins... oh well. After freezing some and making a lot of pies I was at a loss as to what to do with the rest of them. I still had a wheelbarrow full!

Well it turns out bunny rabbits love pumpkin and they grow really big on a regular diet of them. Every three days I'd cut up two small pumpkins and hubbie would distribute it to our bunny rabbits. Our butcher batch averaged about four pounds each! Much bigger than the last batch we butchered. Now we're only going through one pumpkin every three days, but our breeding does and bucks sure love their treats. Mulder is a bit of a chunker now tho. He's so cute!
