Peach Truck!

The peach truck came to town today. You may be asking what is a peach truck? Well it's an semi-truck full of fresh Georgia peaches and pecans. The peaches were picked 48 hours ago, so we were told and given instructions on how to care for them until they rippen.

The line started an hour before they opened up the truck for the sale. As you can see it wrapped around the semi.

Half a bushel for $25 or the special of the day a bushel and two pounds of pecans for $100.

They came around and took your money and gave you tokens for your purchase. This made the line move quickly. When you reached the front, you handed over the tokens and they gave you your purchase.

We are planning on canning, making jelly and maybe a pie or two. The biggest take away is I can't wait to get a homestead started and I will be the one making some income off the fruit trees we are planning to plant.
