Could not have said it better myself. The really insidious aspect of the government is that they have to keep fixing something, otherwise they become obsolete.

Same with the military-industrial complex. They need to have perpetual war to justify their budgets and existence. Most of the taxpayers still don't seem to understand that these wars in the middle east are started and funded by their so-called elected representatives.
