Do you get Grumpy???
Colleen & I have been on our new homestead for better than two years now, and we can honestly say we love it here, we have made a life for ourselves, a good life! We, for the most part are pretty positive people, but it happens........
Sometimes you can get a little grumpy!
All the things to do pile up, if you are a homesteader you know what I am talking about. Not enough food production, incomplete projects, the to do list is only 25% complete & we keep adding to the list every day! Then throw in a minor injury that stiffens you up and slows you down and in my case having to work away from the homestead more than I want to, I could go on and on……..
Grumpy Grumpy Grumpy!
Then there are morning like this morning, foggy quiet and beautiful….. I went out to do my morning chores and wow everything just comes into perspective.
When it’s quiet you somehow start to become one with nature and may I dare say with God, you realize that you are a part of something bigger than you. These 50 acres we live on is alive, it breathes, it has a personality, and character. IT supplies us with the beauty in the coming of fall, the flowers and the shades of the trees coming through the fog in grays and blues.
The sun peeking through to bring the light of the day.
All of the sudden grumpy is gone! I am proud of the accomplishments we have made, the tasks we have completed. The list doesn’t look so daunting anymore, and once again, all is right in our little world!
AHHHHH SERENITY!!!!!!!!!!
Let us know if you get grumpy and how you get beyond it.....
Well that all for today, we will see y'all next time, thanks for visiting.
