17 steps to assemble PC
Hay back with me @sucindi, as a computer teacher at high school level, I am in charge of knowing the computer parts either from the program or how to assemble the computer, so in my writing this I will give tutorial assemble PC.
So let's learn!!!
Step 1
It is a safety procedure to dispose of static electricity on the body so that when touching a component there is no static electricity flow that could harm the component. The simplest way is to touch the hand on the casing. Or it could also use an anti static bracelet.
Step 2
Remove the motherboard and place it on top of the box. In this position we will be all components on the motherboard.
Step 3
Remove the CPU from the box and hold it at the edges. ATTENTION! Processor Pin is a very sensitive component and never touch the pin with any hand or object.
Step 4
Unlock the processor socket on the motherboard and plug the CPU into the socket. No need to be forced or pressed because if the position is right, the cpu and socket will fit in. Do not forget to re-lock the processor socket. Please press a bit to lock on the latch.
Step 5
It's time to install cooler. For a new build and using a stock cooler (the default of the processor) is usually already equipped with thermal paste. If you use after market cooler, do not forget to apply thermal paste to the top of the processor. Cooler AMD and Intel are different, but the installation mechanism is actually the same. Put it on top of the processor, then lock it. When locked properly, the processor and motherboard can be lifted only by lifting the cooler alone. Do not forget also to plug the power pin cooler on the motherboard that reads CPU FAN.
Step 6
It's time to install RAM. The trick how to plug a small hole in the ram with a ram slot on the motherboard. Press a bit hard until it clicks.
Up here, finish the process of installing components on the motherboard (except graphics card to be installed later) Next we move to the casing.
Step 7
Install the I / O panel (usually present in the motherboard box) on the casing.
Step 8
Install the motherboard into the casing, do not forget to install the bolt on the motherboard and stand off.
Step 9
Install Power supply on the casing. Then tighten the bolt on the back of the casing.
Step 10
Next, install the hard disk drive. Plug the SATA cable as well as the power cable from the power supply to the hard drive.
After all the components are installed inside the casing, it's time to connect the cable to the motherboard, either the cable from the power supply or cable from the casing.
Step 11
First, connect the motherboard power cable. Usually amounted to 24 pins or 20 pins, depending on the motherboard used.
Step 12
Next, connect the CPU power pin. Usually 4 or 8 pins.
Step 13
Connecting Front panel pins to: power switch, reset switch, HDD LED and Power LED. This step is the most complicated of the others because the Front Panel pins are small and separate from each other. The only way to be precise and not wrong is to look at the manual book contained in the box motherboard.
Step 14
Connect the SATA cable from the HDD drive to the SATA port on the motherboard.
Connect the USB 3.0 cable from the case to the motherboard. This step is optional because not all motherboard or casing is equipped with usb 3.0 feature
Step 16
Connect HD Audio from the casing on the motherboard.
Step 17
Finally, install the graphics card on the PCIe slot. Do not forget to also plug the PCIe power pin into the graphic card.
Completed the stages of assembling the PC. Of course aja steps above is not the stage that must be followed by default because each person must have their own way in assembling a PC. And the picture above is just a simple example to assemble a PC that is basic.
So little writing from me about the 17 steps to assemble a PC may be useful, the picture above deliberately slightly edited to facilitate the people who read this paper.Thank you regards knowledge from me @sucindi
