Cleaning cast iron cookware is not as bad as you might think. In fact, all you need is some hot water and a little elbow grease!
The benefits of using cast iron, and caring for it appropriately, far outweigh any negatives associated to it. The best part is that you can still get high quality cast iron for relatively low cost at swap meets and yard sales. A little elbow grease will get it back in shape (but that's another video).
