To me it's exactly the opposite of your problem (when you say you don't draw arms well).

I draw the upper body great, but then all my characters come out dwarf.... I suck at drawing legs, even when cheating with guidelines they come out too stocky or weird.

Nicely done... btw, I am now going to get a sandwish over those pics.
