NOT a run of the mill air rifle, It has a built in silencer! With Gamo's copper sabot round (.177) it goes super sonic, and cracks like a rifle. Actually thinking about putting a scope on this one.

I have a friend (I know I rented him) that runs cattle on 200 + acres, and the Rabbits have moved in. They dig holes the cattle step in, and break legs, turning them into impromptu steak. He can only shoot one Rabbit, then the rest hide. We got 14 in a couple of hours with this toy. Regular weight pellets are deadly quiet!

He bought one the next day, and is dropping them at a local food pantry now. They have cleaned and frozen over a hundred so far. His cattle are doing much better.... :)

wow smithlabs! you should make a post of that. well maybe killing wouldn't go over that well with some people. how much do those cost?
"impromtu steak!" lol

The Gamo is about $240. A little spendy for an air rifle, but it is not a run of the mill air rifle either. The best result, besides the cattle protecting, is the Rabbits being put to a good use.

An exceptional air rifle is a must have for SHTF situations, as it is inexpensive to shoot, and powered by air, so you can Not run out of propellent! :D

One pump of the barrel will fully charge the system. IT IS hard to cock, but well worth the effort! :)

Not all day long, but Yes they can.

It will penetrate 1 1/2 inches of yellow pine.

dang. well now you know what to get me for Christmas!

Shot, for Christmas? Sounds fair, ROFLOL! :)
