Missed Opportunity - Swarm
This is the time of the year our family pays close attention to our bee hives. We are regularly looking for swarms so we can add additional bees to our homestead. Today, we had one but before we could react they flew off down the hill in front of our home. Luke tried hard to follow them through the woods but no luck. I just hope they found a good home!
The year is still young and last year we had them swarming until mid August.
We've had one last week on a bird box.

We didn't. We had to get sell all of our hives bcuz the farmer is super allergic.
We had something like that happen to us one time it is so frustrating when that happens.
